These terms cover your use of the ThroVid website and the purchase of a licence. Your use of the desktop application itself is covered by the End User Licence Agreement.
Your account
You need an account to buy a licence, and a confirmed email address to receive one — your licence key and receipts are delivered by email. The desktop application itself has no separate account or login of its own; it is activated by the licence key alone.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@throvid.com if you think someone else has access to it.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Connecting Facebook
The application connects to Facebook Pages you already manage through Facebook's own Graph API and its standard OAuth permission screen. You are responsible for having the right to manage and publish to any Page you connect, and for what you choose to publish — see the End User Licence Agreement for the detail. Connecting Facebook, and anything published through that connection, is also subject to Meta's own Platform Terms and Community Standards, which we do not control.
Buying a licence
Prices are shown per currency and are charged exactly as displayed. Nothing is converted at checkout.
Some payment methods are confirmed automatically; others are checked by a person, usually within one business day. Your licence is issued once payment is confirmed, not when the order is placed.
A licence is for the number of devices shown on the plan you bought. That number is fixed at the time of purchase and does not change if we later change the plan.
Renewing extends the licence you already hold. Your key stays the same and your activated devices stay activated.
What you may not do
- Share, resell or publish your licence key
- Attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with licensing
- Use the software in a way that breaks the law where you are, or that breaches
Facebook's own terms
- Use the software to publish content you do not have the rights or permission
to publish — see the End User Licence Agreement and our Copyright and Takedown Policy
We may suspend or revoke a licence used in these ways. Where we do, we will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep this website available, but we do not guarantee it.
The software is deliberately built not to depend on it: your licence is verified on your own machine against a signed token, so the site being unreachable does not stop you publishing.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new revision date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
