End User Licence Agreement

Last updated 15 August 2026

This agreement is between you and ThroVid and covers your use of the software. Installing or using the software means you accept it.

What you get

A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the number of devices your plan allows, for as long as your licence is valid.

You own your licence key; you do not own the software. It is licensed, not sold.

What you may do

  • Install and use it on up to the number of devices your plan allows
  • Use it for personal or business purposes
  • Move it between your own machines, within the device changes your plan allows
  • Connect it to any Facebook Page you have the right to manage and publish to

What you may not do

  • Share, publish, resell or sub-licence your key
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where the law

expressly permits it regardless of this agreement

  • Remove or alter any notices in it
  • Bypass, disable or interfere with licensing

Acceptable use — content and rights

This is the important part, and it is your responsibility.

This software is a tool for publishing and scheduling video content to Facebook Pages you manage. It is meant for content you are entitled to publish. That includes:

  • Your own footage and recordings
  • Content your business or organisation owns or has commissioned
  • Content published under a licence that permits redistribution, such as

Creative Commons

  • Content you have been given explicit permission to publish

You must not use the software to publish material where you do not hold the rights or the permission to do so, or where doing so would breach Facebook's Platform Terms or Community Standards, a third party's rights, or the law where you are.

You are solely responsible for what you publish with this software, for holding the necessary rights to it, and for the Facebook Pages you connect it to. We provide a general-purpose publishing tool; we do not review, control or endorse what any individual publishes with it, and we accept no responsibility for it.

If you are not sure whether you may publish a particular piece of content, the answer is that you should not until you are.

Your licence key

Your key identifies you. Sharing it is the fastest way to lose it: keys found in public, or in use on far more machines than a plan allows, are revoked.

The software verifies your licence on your own machine against a signed token, so it keeps working without a connection. It checks in periodically to refresh that token.

Updates

Updates are included while your licence is valid. We may change or remove features. Where a change is significant we will say so in the release notes.

Ending this agreement

Your licence ends if it expires and you do not renew, or if you break this agreement. When it ends you must stop using the software.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not control Facebook's platform and are not responsible for changes Facebook makes to it.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
