Copyright and Takedown Policy

Last updated 15 August 2026

We take copyright seriously, and we want to be straightforward about what this software is.

What this software is

A desktop tool for publishing and scheduling video content — Facebook Reels — to Facebook Pages a user already manages, using Facebook's own official Graph API. It is used to publish content people already have the rights to: their own footage, their business's assets, and material they have been given permission to publish.

It is comparable to a social media scheduling tool — general-purpose software that publishes what a user gives it, with substantial legitimate uses.

What we ask of our users

Our End User Licence Agreement requires you to hold the rights or the permission for anything you publish with the software, and to comply with Facebook's own Platform Terms and Community Standards. Using it to infringe someone else's copyright, or to breach Facebook's terms, is a breach of that agreement.

What we can and cannot do

We do not host, store, index or distribute the videos our users publish. Nothing about the video itself passes through our servers — it goes straight from the user's machine to Facebook. We have no record of what any user has published, and no technical ability to remove it from Facebook — the platform it was published to is the one with that content and that ability.

This means a takedown notice sent to us cannot remove a Facebook post: we do not have it and cannot reach it. A notice about specific published content should go to Facebook directly, through Meta's own reporting tools.

If you are a rights holder

If you believe our software is being promoted or used in a way that infringes your rights, please write to support@throvid.com with:

  • Who you are and how to reach you
  • The work concerned
  • What specifically you believe is infringing, with URLs where relevant
  • A statement that you believe the use is not authorised
  • A statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the rights

holder or authorised to act for them

We will review anything sent to us and respond. Where a specific user has breached our licence agreement, we act on it, including revoking licences.

Repeat infringement

Accounts used to infringe copyright have their licences revoked. We do not refund licences revoked for this reason.
