About us

Software you bought should keep working

ThroVid is a small team building one desktop tool properly: publishing Facebook Reels across every Page you manage, on your own machine, without a subscription and without depending on us being online.

Who we are

ThroVid is built by Thynqsys Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited, a software company registered in Pakistan. We build desktop tools for content creators and agencies who manage social media at scale. ThroVid is our first product — built because we managed Pages ourselves and got tired of the repetition. One video, re-uploaded to ten Pages, with captions retyped each time. ThroVid exists so that never has to happen again.

What we hold to

Three decisions the whole product follows from

A licence server must not be able to strand you

Your licence is verified on your own machine against a cryptographic signature, with a fortnight of grace when we cannot be reached. Our servers going down — or going away entirely — does not stop you publishing.

We do not need to see your videos or your keys

The app never sends us the videos you publish, the captions it generates, or your AI provider's API key. Licensing requests carry a key and a device identifier because that is all the API accepts.

The work belongs on your computer

No upload step to a queue on someone else's server — your video goes straight from your disk to Facebook. That is also the cheapest privacy guarantee there is: a file that never sits on our server cannot leak from it.

Running more than one Facebook Page turns into the same afternoon over and over: upload the same file, write the same caption nine times with small changes, switch accounts, repeat.

Why we built it

We wanted one screen that held every connected Page, drafted a caption with whichever AI provider we already paid for, and published or scheduled the result without a browser tab open per Page. Something that ran on the desktop rather than in someone else's cloud, and did not need a live connection to keep working.

Most of what exists is either a browser-based scheduler that wants your video uploaded to its own servers first, or a tool built for one Page that starts to strain the moment you manage five. Neither is what we wanted to use.

What we do differently about renewals

Renewing extends the licence you already hold. The same key, the same activated devices, nothing to copy and paste again. There is no stored card and nothing charges automatically — you renew when you decide to, and a 14-day grace window means a brief outage on our side never interrupts a publish that was already running.

Using it responsibly

This is a general-purpose publishing tool, and what gets published with it is the user's decision and the user's responsibility. Our licence agreement asks you to hold the rights, or the permission, for anything you publish with it, and to stay within Facebook's own Platform Terms and Community Standards.

If you are not sure whether you may publish something, the answer is that you should not until you are.

Talking to us

We are small and we answer our own support. If something is broken, unclear or missing, write to us or email support@throvid.com. A real person reads it, and usually replies within one business day.

See whether it suits you

Download it, connect a Page, and publish one Reel to see how it feels before you activate a licence.
